Welcome to Stepado ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application Stepado (the "App").

Location Data

With your permission, the App accesses your device's location (GPS) to record your walking routes, measure distance, and unlock areas on your personal exploration map. Depending on the permission you grant, this may include location access while the App is in use and, where enabled, in the background during an active walk. You can grant, limit, or revoke location access at any time in your iPhone Settings.

Motion & Fitness Data

With your permission, the App reads step counts and motion data from your device's motion sensors (e.g. Apple's pedometer) to track your daily activity. This data is used to display your steps, distance, and progress toward your goals.

Health & Body Metrics You Provide

During onboarding you may enter information such as your sex, age, height, weight, and a daily step goal. We use these values to estimate stride length, distance, and calorie figures.

Usage Data

We may automatically collect certain information when you use the App, including:

• Device type, operating system, and version
• App usage events (e.g., screens viewed, features used, session duration)
• Crash reports and performance data
• A randomly generated, anonymous user ID
